"Keepsake conjures up feelings of security. There is a feeling of being centred that anchors the piece, as well as a feeling of being content and happy. A keepsake is a memento, a reminder of someone, or somewhere, one has left behind: this is how music can work sometimes - it takes you back to a certain time, and a certain place." Handbook

Inspired by artists as J Dilla, Flying Lotus and Madlib, Handbook began producing music in his bedroom in 2010, working solely with an MPC1000 and a Microkorg. He began to build a following after sharing his music on Soundcloud and in late 2010, Handbook has released his debut EP on Cascade Records with Handprints and following with a new EP Reminiscence in 2018, and Rewind in 2020 the first in a string string of succesful albums and EPs. Handbook's signature sound compromise of soulfoul samples, thick bass lines and layered instrumentals flourishes.
