French producer, dj and radio host Midori is back with a full length new EP Kumo ! Midori explains that all the tracks are kinds inspired by 'Sonoko' from his debut EP 'Green' released in 2017. The 8 tracks EP sounds slow and mellow and contains 2 remixes from the Tokyoïte artists Daisuke Tanabe and Repeat Pattern and features several Paris based musicians and artists as Clara Cappagli from electronic duo AGAR AGAR. Subliminal soundscapes transcend upon minimalistic tones, French producer Midori has crafted a piece that plays on a sense of gloom or an intense euphoric state. Though, this is fully dependant on how you feel whilst listening to the EP. Midori taps into a kind of angelic atmosphere with long drawn out notes that give the listener a musical experience likened to a spiritual ritual close to experimental electronica music range to Nils Frahm, David August ...
His new live is accompanied by an orchestra (Orchestre Orage), a meet between electronic and classical.
Midori also run his own Paris-Tokyo based record label "Menace" who features on Jeremy Talon, Hugo LX and many more. You can listen to his show every saturday on Rinse France and he also regulary guest show for NTS London, Rinse UK and The Lot Radio.

Le producteur, dj et animateur de radio Midori est de retour avec un nouvel EP intitulé "Kumo" qui siginfie nuage en japonais. Pour concevoir ce projet, Midori explique qu'il a puisé essentiellement dans le titre 'Sonoko' extrait de son premier EP "Green" sorti en 2017. L'EP de 8 titres sonne lentement et doucement, contenant deux remixes d'artistes amis Tokyoïte, Daisuke Tanabe et Repeat Pattern et présente plusieurs musiciens et artistes basés à Paris dont Clara Cappagli du duo électronique AGAR AGAR.
Les paysages sonores subliminaux transcendent les tons minimalistes, le producteur parisien Midori a conçu une pièce qui
joue sur un sentiment de morosité ou un état d'euphorie intense. Cependant, cela dépend entièrement de ce que vous ressentez en écoutant l'EP "Kumo". Midori puise dans une sorte d'atmosphère angélique avec de longues nappes de synthé qui donnent à l'auditeur une expérience musicale assimilée à un rituel spirituel proche des musiques expérimentales electronica à Nils Frahm, David August ...
Son nouveau live est accompagné d'un orchestre (Orchester Orage), une rencontre entre électronique et classique. Midori dirige également son propre label collectif "Menace" basé entre Paris et Tokyo qui met en vedette des artistes comme Jéremy Talon, Hugo LX et bien d'autres. Vous pouvez écouter son émission tous les samedis sur Rinse France et il est régulièrement invité à jouer sur NTS London, Rinse UK et The Lot Radio.
