"I composed Health in 2017. It was a difficult moment in my life,
this period push me naturaly to make a music more emotive, dark
and heartfelt. This EP was produced in my room quiclkly and very
fluidly in few months. It was also a revelation for me i guess
i managed to make a more personal music that really looks like me.
Originary from Iraq by my father, i tried to introduce in my music
some intimate sounds, as with arabic drums, the particular way
to make beats, using traditionnals intruments as the oud, the kanon
and violons. The most difficult was to keep it sweet, a way to
produce not so much, and do not fall into the pathos, to keep
the emotion vivid and sensitive for each tracks. That's why i
decided to include voices for the project too i'm not a good singer
and i have a lot of chance to collaborate with rappers and singers
that i really love. They have sublimate deeply all the atmosphere
of HEALTH."

"J'ai commencé à travailler sur Health en 2017. A cette période,
j'ai été marqué par des épreuves dans ma vie qui m'ont naturellement
poussé à faire une musique plus émotionnelle, sombre et sincère.
Cet EP a été produit dans ma chambre à Paris et s'est fait de manière
rapide et très fluide en quelques mois. Il a été un réel déclic pour
moi dans le sens où il me semble que j'y ai réussi à faire une musique
personnelle qui me ressemble vraiment. Étant d'origine irakienne par
mon père, j'ai aussi tenté d'incorporer dans ma musique des sonorités
qui me touchent intimement, que ce soit dans l'usage de percussions,
la manière de faire les beats, mais aussi d'instruments comme le oud,
le kanoun ou des violons. Toute la difficulté en termes de composition
fut aussi de ne pas trop en faire, de ne pas trop charger mes
productions pour ne pas tomber dans le pathos et de garder une émotion sincère et retenue dans chacun des morceaux. L'idée étant de retirer un maximum d'éléments afin de ne garder que ce qui suffit à faire passer l'émotion dans ma musique. J'ai aussi tout de suite voulu que ce projet soit soutenu par des voix. N'étant moi même pas chanteur, j'ai eu la chance de collaborer de manière étroite avec des personnes aux timbres de voix qui me touchent et qui ont su mettre encore plus en valeur l'atmosphère des morceaux."
