Kuna Maze is .. a young producer from Lyon France. Training
trumpetist, his music oscillates between electronica, hip hop
and jazz experimental to create hypnotic's Future beat.

The 6 tracks of the new EP POSPTPONE start with Melted, a smooth
wav of synths on a jazzy electronica drum. Right after the track
'Blue' comes with a swing melancholic downtempo beat, and haunted by a blow of pitched vocals to create a nocturnal and sepulchral mood. Follow up the floating track 'Still Dry' over the nebula spatial choirs from Koji who fit perfectly with the Kuna Maze's
harmonic melody. Then 'Pith Memories' push the EP's vibe to a new
throbbing energy way with the perfect flow grave and burial of
rappers's Mattic, completed by 'Keep Diggin' It' with his bouncy
rhythm reminds us the first Kuna Maze's releases influenced by the
new LA beat Scene and the famous Low End Theory. The EP ends
on a dreamy song 'Kind Of End', a sensitive feeling suspended..

Kuna Maze est un producteur lyonnais et co-fondateur du collectif
ORBIT, Kuna Maze propose une musique aux multiples influences.
Les sonorités de ce trompettiste de formation, entre hip-hop,
électronica, expérimental et jazz, oscillent entre nappes hypnotiques
et Future Beat. Avec son nouvel Postpone EP, Il continue son
exploration des textures syntho-cosmiques et granuleuses, où de
lourdes rythmiques organiques viennent rompre les harmonies soyeuses et lunaires, où les voix et les masses résonnent dans l'espace grand ouvert.

Les 6 tracks de POSTPONE s'ouvrent sur Melted, une douce marée
de synthés rythmée par une drum dans un style proche du grand
J Dilla. Vient après cela Blue, beat lent et mélancolique, hanté
par des vocales pitchées soufflant tout au long du titre un univers
nocturne et sépulcral. Puis entrent les envolées nébuleuses des
voix de Koji sur l'aérien Still Dry, mettant en relief l'aisance
harmonique et l'efficacité de production de Kuna Maze, pour ensuite
laisser place à l'énergie lancinante de Pitch Memories, avec le
flow grave et funéraire de Mattic, se joue du tempo pour surprendre
par sa qualité d'head-banger et le place - avec Still Dry - comme
les deux essences profondes du projet.
